Why are none of you speaking out about the NYPD violating the constitutional rights and human rights of the Occupy Wall Street protesters.
I am forced to assume that my elected representatives who took an oath to defend the constitution do not support the constitution or we the people anymore.
The Occupy Wall Street protesters have, without a doubt, made it evident to everyone that none of you are on the side of the constitution and the people who have put you there.
At least make a public statement so we will know which of you defend the constitution and stand with the citizens of this country. All of us may not agree with everything the protesters stand for but as Americans we will defend their constitutional right to protest and speak out publicly to our last breath.
The days of party loyalty are over! The days of divide and conquer are over! In the election cycles to follow I will vote for whomever defends our constitutional freedoms. If it is not you then so be it.
If you are too timid to make a strong statement on this issue, my vote was wasted. Rest assured it will not be wasted again.
If you who were elected remain silent on this issue I truly fear for what is left of our country, our freedoms, and our Constitution. The possibility of an escalation to civil unrest that is unprecedented in our history is hanging in the balance and none of you have said anything.
May God have mercy on us and our country and I pray He will forgive us for not holding tightly enough to the gift of freedom He gave us over two hundred years ago!
Your silence is unacceptable!!
WHERE ARE YOU PEOPLE!!
Thank you and I will look forward to your public statement.
